This message appears when doing the Connection Test while running the WDTest6.exe file (as opposed to running WDTest directly from the SpecWare Preferences screen). This message indicates that the correct COM port has been selected but SpecWare is not seeing the logger. Check that the logger is connected to the interface cable and that the battery is fresh. If the problem persists, it may be due to a bad cable or damage to the logger circuitry.
