The source of this message is similar to that for "Logger not found on port Com X".  This message generally appears if an attempt is being made to reinitialize the logger's header but Specware is unable to contact the station.  The most common reasons for this are that the wrong Com port has been selected, the logger/station batteries are low, or the interface cable is defective or not connected properly.

This message will also appear when you try to perform a launch using the gray cable with the wireless plugged into the auxiliary port.  The auxiliary port must be free when you are using the gray cable.
