The WatchDog 100 data loggers have a lower temperature limit of about -40 º C. If the temperature gets to this point, the voltage on the battery will drop to a level where the logger stops running. At this point, the data will be lost. But, when the logger warms up, it can be relaunched and resume functioning. The actual temperature where this happens is dependent on the age of the logger and the freshness of the battery.
